With multiple teams to support your event, you have flexibility to offer how you want to present your services to customers. In this example, chefs Coach Ray and Jane have services Teaching and Cooking

Option A: Customer chooses the service, then the instructor

This is ideal if the instructor is not well known to the customer, and the service itself helps drive the customers decision to buy

  1. Create one event for your service.

  2. Add an availability for each instructor

  3. On the event settings, let the customer select the availability

What if I don’t want the customer to select the instructor?

You can automatically assign the timeslot to the available instructor at random. More details here. This would look like

Option B: Customer chooses the instructor, then the service

This is ideal if the instructor is generally known to the customer that influence their decision to make a booking. This is also ideal if instructors have different prices.

  1. Create one event for each instructor, with variants for the service, and specify the prices from Shopify Admin > Products.

  2. Using variant based calendars, set up calendars for each product/variant combination (ie. Cooking with Ray)

  3. Add an availability for each instructor

Option C: Two instructors offering the same service, using the same room. Customer chooses the service first.

  1. Create one product for the service, using the variants for each instructor

  2. Using variant based calendars, set up calendars for each product/variant combination (ie. Cooking with Ray)
